Are you a surgical nurse seeking professional growth?In cooperation with a hospital in the western part of Norway, we are looking for a flexible surgical nurse who doesn’t mind working with different parts of the hospital.

This is a smaller hospital that focuses primarily on different kinds of surgical assistance. Because of their size there can be days where surgeries gets postponed or cancel and the surgical nurse has to contribute in other areas than to only work inside the operating theatre.

Tasks

• Interdisciplinary collaboration.
• To care for the patients during surgery
• Help the surgeon in all matters related to the surgery
• Communicate with the next-of-kin/family of the patient
• Administrative work regarding your patient
• Assisting with sterilizing the equipment
• Other tasks normally done by nurses

Qualifications

• Authorization as a nurse in an EU-country.
• Work experience as a nurse
• Specialization as a scrub nurse/surgical nurse
• Experience from hospitals and community care is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge
• English language skills, both oral and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Driver’s license is an advantage.
