Role Overview
CarboCode (www.carbocode.com) is a biotech company active in technology development of carbohydrate-containing biomolecules such as oligosaccharides, glycoconjugates, glycolipids and glycoproteins using both in vitro and in vivo biotechnology. Human natural lipid and oligosaccharide molecule-based food, cosmetic and health care products despite being at high customer demand are currently not available at the market due to the complexity of their synthesis. CarboCode is a company that aspires to improve human health and well-being by making human natural lipid and oligosaccharide molecules widely available. CarboCode core capabilities span a variety of technologies spanning through advanced chemical synthesis, to biocatalysis and biotechnological production.
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Biocatalysis Technician to join our innovative biotech company, specializing in the development of carbohydrate-containing biomolecules.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain biocatalysis equipment in our pilot plant.
- Monitor and control biocatalytic processes.
- Collect and record data from experiments and production runs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with research and development teams.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Technical diploma from professional school or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
